The dense forest of Gajner Wildlife Sanctuary is inhabited by blue bulls, wildfowl, black bucks, hares, wild boar, desert foxes and deer. A beautiful lake located in the interiors of the sanctuary is a favorite temporary home of several birds which migrate to the sanctuary in the winters. However, in the summer months the lake seems to be the most promising site to sight the wildlife as they come to it to beat the heat by water. Many tourists come to the sanctuary to see these winter guests. Jeep safaris are available for the tourists to venture into the forest.
